🌿 The Season Changes — and So Do We
As the environment shifts and the days grow shorter, many Indigenous communities observe this time as one of rest, remembrance, and renewal. In this educational session, the Shanenawá community shares how seasonal transitions are marked through rituals, rhythms, and reflections that align with the natural world.

Participants will learn about traditional practices that honor balance, prepare for the months ahead, and strengthen community bonds through intentional change.

🌱 What You’ll Learn:
How seasonal cycles are observed in Shanenawá culture

The role of rituals in supporting reflection, gratitude, and preparation

Examples of non-ceremonial seasonal practices (gathering, storytelling, rest)

Insights on how ancestral knowledge supports emotional and communal well-being

The importance of honoring change as part of living in rhythm with nature

🧭 Event Format:
Welcome and grounding with Indigenous Foundation hosts

Presentation and storytelling from a Shanenawá speaker

Shared seasonal reflection activity (writing or guided meditation)

Closing thoughts on rest, renewal, and cultural rhythm

This event is part of the Indigenous Foundation’s seasonal education series, encouraging global participants to move in step with Earth’s cycles while deepening their appreciation for Indigenous ways of knowing and living.
